Shoreline – Interboat is a family-run business committed to providing high standards of customer service.

We were established in 1986 by Terry and Melanie Ollerton. Terry had been working in a yacht yard dealing with every aspect of boating from the ground up through to management. He built up a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the industry which proved invaluable and is one of the reasons Shoreline – Interboat has been so successful.

Terry still has an active role in the company and has been integral to the success of our recent merger. Shoreline Yacht and Boat Transport joined forces with Interboat, Transport Solutions in July 2019. Now known as Shoreline – Interboat, we’re delighted to be able to offer our customers the expertise of two fantastic and highly knowledgeable teams.

Together, we’re one of the UK’s largest and longest-standing specialist boat transportation companies. From our offices in Chichester and Reading, we’re well situated to manage the requirements of moving craft around the UK and Europe.

Over the years, we’ve introduced several new purpose-built state-of-the-art trailers. This has enabled Shoreline – Interboat to carry boats securely and very low to the ground. A number of our trailers are equipped with hydraulically-powered rear-wheel steering which can be operated from within our cab to allow us to move larger craft by road.

We’re very proud of the fact that our equipment is always held in very high regard throughout the industry. Our drivers are also highly respected and our fleet of trailers are bespoke and specifically equipped to transport vessels securely.
